Forest honey
This honey is harvested in the Dzelzāmurs forests, located in the Iecava parish of the Bauska municipality.
I place my apiary deep within the forest, about 3 km away from civilization. This ensures that the bees gather honey exclusively from the rich variety of wild forest flowers. The forest acts as a natural barrier, keeping the bees close and encouraging them to forage nearby among wild plants and pristine meadows. This exceptional honey was harvested in early July.
As the honey hardens, the color may differ from the one shown in the picture.
