Propolis is a product that bees collect in nature as it is without adding much of their own (may contain wax). Propolis is the resinous secretion of plants that covers the buds and bases of the leaves. The most typical plants here are aspens, poplars and birches.

Propolis is known for its antibacterial and antiviral effects, it is described as a powerful antioxidant. Therefore, propolis is widely used in various healing and medicinal products, against colds and in the treatment of inflammation.

Propolis is usually dissolved in water, oil and alcohol in different concentrations to obtain an extract. Grind frozen propolis. Some like to simply chew for oral care.

Propolis is not chosen for daily use because of its strong effects. If the throat hurts, you can chew, but stop as soon as it passes. There are no restrictions for external use, unless an allergy appears.
